Research! Homework! Information Overload! OH MY!

Do you hear that Stanford? The buzz of summer events, what with all of the weddings, graduations, and fun social gatherings?! Stan and I adore the sound of clinking glassware, twittering birds, and happy couples smooching under a canopy of summer trees. How divine!

Many couples come to us with a dream of a blissful summer outdoor wedding. We love to make that dream happen, but want to ensure that our clients are fully informed about the decisions they must make. In fact, today's tete a tete goes for ANYONE planning ANYTHING -- Be informed!

Stanford and I suggest hitting the internet and doing your homework! If you're planning the ideal outdoor wedding, research what type and size of tents are available in your area. There are a myriad of tent choices, each with their own list of pros and cons. Chat with the vendors you are thinking of working with and find out their opinions and preferences on products and services. Approach the planning of your event as though it is a major purchase, ie car or home. I hear some fine readers chuckling, Stanford. However, we must remind these dears that this event is a milestone that must be researched and thought on at length. In fact, we recommend hiring a consultant or wedding planner to assist you in doing your homework.

Obviously we want YOUR day to be perfect. And it can be -- with the right amount of research and planning. Cheers!
